Test Lead Engineer
Location: Tampa- hybrid
6 Month Contract to Hire
Responsibilities:
* Building robust, scalable, and high-quality test automation solutions for functional and regression testing.
* Developing code for quality automation and ensuring extensive test coverage of the code.
* Building, customizing, deploying, and managing the test automation frameworks.
* Providing documentation and reports of the test results
Requirements:
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering).
* 3+ years of QA Testing experience
* 2 Years hands on Automation Experience
* Experience using Java, TestNG, Selenium.
* Must have experience with Xpath axes and CSS selectors
* Firm knowledge of automation standard and best practices
* In depth knowledge of common automation design patterns such as the page object model
* In depth knowledge of software development 5 methodologies
* Must have hands-on experience in bitbucket with automation code merge/push process
* Strong debugging and triage skills
* Strong written and oral communication skills
* Strong analysis and problem solving skills
* Candidate must be organized, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and able to handle multiple responsibilities in an enterprise agile environment
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Demonstrate a high level of motivation confidence, integrity, and responsibility.
* Strong knowledge of agile best practices including QAs role on a scrum team
* Must be able to present work in a clear and understandable manner
* Must be able to work independently with minimal assistance
A plus:
* Experience testing APIs using postman or RestAssured
* Experience working with multithreaded test execution
* Experience writing test related documentation such as test plans, strategies, or post testing reports
