The Boeing Company's Support Equipment (SE) capability team is part of BGS Government Services Engineering has an opening for an Associate Support Equipment (SE) Systems Engineer within the SE System Engineering and Integration Team (SEIT) in Hazelwood, Missouri. The SE SEIT is growing in response to a flurry of recent program wins as well as an increase in work statement on existing programs. Position Responsibilities:
  • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions
  • Evaluates customer and /operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces
  • Performs various analyses to optimize the total system of systems and/or system architecture
  • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success
  • Develops the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes
  • Resolves cross-functional technical issues

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (including manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years Engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience using DOORS
  • 1+ years of experience developing system/subsystem requirements and verification matrices
  • 1+ years of experience using BORIS to manage Risks, Issues, and/or Opportunity
  • 1+ years of experience do you have with Model-Based
