Role: SAP Funds & Grant Management Consultant.
Location: Hybrid 40% Onsite in Harrisburg, PA (Travel Expenses Reimbursed)
Start Date: ASAP
Travel: 40% travel required to Harrisburg, PA.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Funds & Grant Management Consultant to support the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in enhancing and maintaining its SAP Public Sector solution. The consultant will play a critical role in driving improvements in fund and grant tracking, compliance, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide expertise in SAP Funds Management (FM) and Grants Management (GM) within a Public Sector environment.
  • Analyze, design, configure, test, and deploy SAP FM and GM functionalities.
  • Assist with the integration of FM/GM with SAP modules such as FI, CO, MM, and SRM.
  • Support end users by resolving incidents, answering queries, and providing training.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional solutions.
  • Help improve existing grant and fund accounting processes to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Create detailed documentation of business processes, system design, and configuration.
  • Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments, reports, and data migration tasks.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in SAP Funds Management and Grants Management, preferably in the public sector or government domain.
  • Proven knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA platform.
  • Strong functional expertise in budgeting, fund allocation, grant lifecycle management, and compliance tracking.
  • Experience working with SAP Public Sector Management (PSM) module.
  • Hands-on experience with Funds Center, Funded Program, Grant Master Data, Budget Control System (BCS), and Grant Lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of integration points with Financial Accounting (FI), Controlling (CO), and other modules.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with State or Federal government clients.
  • Knowledge of Federal grants compliance requirements (e.g., OMB guidelines).
  • SAP Certification in Public Sector Modules (FM/GM) is a plus.
