Job Title: ServiceNow Developer
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: 5 Months

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow Developer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, configuration, and integration, with hands-on experience in ITSM modules and custom application development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and configure ServiceNow applications, workflows, and automation rules.

  • Implement and customize ITSM modules including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and CMDB.

  • Develop and maintain scripts (Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, etc.).

  • Build Service Portal components using AngularJS, HTML, CSS.

  • Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

  • Configure SLA management, notifications, forms, fields, and access controls.

  • Ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks.

  • Create dashboards, reports, and performance analytics.

  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot issues using debugging tools.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture (tables, scripts, workflows, ACLs).

  • Proficiency in JavaScript and Glide API (GlideRecord, GlideSystem, GlideAjax, etc.).

  • Experience with App Engine for custom applications.

  • Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, MID Server, and Orchestration.

  • Familiarity with ITIL best practices and ITSM processes.

  • Knowledge of role-based access control, encryption, and compliance.

  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.

  • Experience in creating dashboards, CMDB reports, and SLA tracking.
