Description

SAIC has an opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer supporting United States Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) at Fort Shafter located in Honolulu, HI.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide Tier III level support to operations and maintenance of the local cross domain solutions. Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) need experience with Windows, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Command Line Interface, and Cross Domain Solutions (Trusted Thin Client, Trusted Gateway System, High Speed Guard)
  • Provide Tier II onsite support to include fault isolation, repair, periodic inspection, and analysis, and replacing unserviceable equipment (as inventory permits). This includes telephonic support and onsite repairs if telephonic support does not remedy the problem. Tier II support includes intra-theater and international shipping services to move, evacuate, or otherwise transport equipment, and system as deemed necessary to support the performance of the contract and Government mission
  • Provide onsite coordination support to INSCOM G7 government liaison officers for Converged Infrastructure (CI) Distributed Processing, Exploitation, Dissemination (DPED) Infrastructure and other INSCOM efforts as required. Will work closely with customers, senior leadership within programs, and other systems engineers and development engineers to comprehend customer objectives and requirements and develop solutions

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' work experience; Four (4) additional years of experience may be substituted in lieu of degree

REQUIRED CERTIFICATION:
  • Personal Certifications: A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+

DESIRED SKILLS:
  • Experience with Any of the following:
    • Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A)
    • Tactical Intelligence Targeting
    • Access Node (TITAN)
    • Army Intelligence Data Platform (AIDP)
    • INSCOM Cloud Initiative (ICI)
    • Aerial Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (A-ISR) platforms

REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
  • Active TS/SCI with ability to obtain TS/SCI CI Poly (U.S. citizenship requir ed)
