Location : Minnetonka MN 55345 Project Duration : 6+ Months Contract with potential to extend Pay Rate : $27/hr. on W2 Shift time : 8:00 AM to 4.30:00 PM

Job Description:

The Co-op works under limited supervision to assist R&D engineers, technicians and teams with building and shipping heart models, testing of medical devices, fixture design and misc. lab functions.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in building and shipping heart models.
Creating/molding tissue targets for model
Conduct design verification testing.
Adhere to good lab and documentation practices.

Quality system duties and responsibilities:
Ensure quality is built into all aspects of work by maintaining compliance with all quality requirements.

Qualifications:
Candidates must be currently enrolled at an accredited undergraduate or graduate engineering program GPA of 3.0 or greater.
Minimum of one-year relevant experience
Proficient in test methodologies
Strong mechanical, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
Ability to learn quickly and work independently with minimal direct supervision.
Candidate must be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) during the 6-month Co-op session.
