RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an Applications Engineer - Support Engineer in Allen, TX.

Responsibilities:
* Applications Engineer - Support Engineer will provide highly visible customer support through diagnosing, troubleshooting, servicing, maintaining, and repairing complex equipment and systems
* Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment; Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system
* Identifies customers' needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers
* Conveys customer feedback to technical design and engineering staff
* May provide ongoing application, network, and security support including servers, firewalls, routers, active directories, etc.
* Provides timely support to the customer's Subject Matter Experts via phone, email, case, and/or screensharing
* Provides real-time support with debugging and designing custom workflow processes
* Gains a basic understanding of an ever-growing list of software and products and how they can be used and integrated
* As an Applications Engineer - Support Engineer, you will collaborate with the customer to understand their business process
* Assists with coding syntax and logic questions, primarily using SQL, XML/XSLT, and VB.NET

REQUIREMENTS:
* A minimum of 4 years of technical customer service experience
* Must have experience in any of the following: Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server Operating Systems, XSLT, VB.NET, SOAP API, REST API or JSON
* Depth of experience with most of these: Microsoft IIS; Active Directory User Management; Windows Desktop Operating System; Microsoft Network Load Balancing; XML; C#; Microservices; Cloud (Google Cloud Platform/Azure/AWS); Enterprise workflow and/or workflow products
* Strong troubleshooting skills
* Strong verbal communication and joy in your heart to help others
* Ability to work on call rotations
* Understanding general business processes (and banking processes) is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
