Description
We are looking for an experienced Principal Engineer Lead to oversee the development, optimization, and governance of our Finance and HR systems. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the systems are secure, compliant, and aligned with organizational objectives. This position offers the opportunity to contribute strategically to system innovation and efficiency within the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, configuration, and integration of Finance and HR systems with other enterprise platforms.
Identify and implement system enhancements to improve operational efficiency and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, HR, and IT, as well as external vendors to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Enforce security protocols and compliance standards specific to healthcare regulations and data privacy.
Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend solutions that enhance workflows and data management.
Manage vendor relationships, including performance evaluations and contract negotiations, to ensure optimal service delivery.
Provide strategic guidance to executive leadership regarding system capabilities and technology advancements.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliability and functionality.
Develop and maintain documentation for system processes, configurations, and integrations.
Facilitate training sessions for end-users to ensure proper utilization of systems.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in system management, consulting, or similar roles.
At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or principal engineering position.
Comprehensive knowledge of financial and HR technologies, particularly in healthcare IT standards.
Proficiency in database management, application configuration, and scripting.
Strong understanding of system security and compliance protocols.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
