Job Description
*** Candidate must be local to Big Rapids, MI and able to support multiple site locations***
Requirements:
Proven experience in desktop support or a similar IT support role.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows OS, device drivers, and peripheral hardware.
Expertise in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
Experience with Active Directory administration and email client configuration.
Familiarity with mobile device management and enterprise mobility tools.
Experience with SCCM, Altiris, or similar configuration management systems.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, or similar.
Experience supporting users in a multi-site environment.
Summary:
We are seeking a Desktop Support Analyst is responsible for delivering advanced (2nd and 3rd level) technical support to end users across multiple locations.
This role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
The analyst will also manage software deployments, system configurations, and ensure compliance with IT standards and policies.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide senior-level technical support for desktop/laptop hardware, software applications, and network connectivity (both on-site and remote).
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft Office Suite, corporate email (Outlook), and various enterprise applications.
Configure, deploy, and support mobile devices including BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Android, and iPhone.
Utilize Configuration Management tools such as SCCM and Altiris for software deployment and asset management.
Maintain and update the universal computer image and software packages.
Monitor and report on software/hardware compliance and enforce patch management policies.
Document procedures for new hardware/software and maintain accurate support records.
Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless support and service delivery.
Notes: Travel between supported sites as needed (valid driver's license required).
