Overview:

We are seeking an Informatica Specialist who will support our client. The Informatica Specialist will support the ETL Assessment and PoC phases for transitioning current Informatica-based ETL processes to Python-based tools. The role involves technical reviews, migration strategy development, and proof-of-concept execution.

Duties:

  • Review and analyze existing ETL code in Informatica.

  • Estimate effort, challenges, and risks for migration to Python-based ETL tools.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand current ETL processes.

  • Develop a PoC to demonstrate functionalities on Databricks and/or Amazon Glue.

  • Validate compatibility and performance of migrated ETL processes.

  • Document assessment findings and PoC recommendations.

  • Manage resources efficiently and meet project timelines.

  • Provide resource recommendations for additional roles if needed.

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience with Informatica.

  • 8+ years of experience Python-based ETL tools.

  • 5+ years of relevant ETL experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.

  • 2+ years' experience in a large healthcare system.

  • Strong knowledge of ETL best practices and methodologies.

  • Proficiency in Pandas, and Spark.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Certifications and experience with process improvement techniques (such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA cycles, and Kanban), Project Management, Business Analysis, or similar.

  • Technical certifications and experience such as ITIL Service Management, Comp TIA certifications, Oracle, Microsoft. Cisco, AWS, certifications, or areas such as IT Governance, IT Auditing, IT Risk Management, etc.

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

  • Master's Degree.
