ECS is seeking an FD Readiness Analyst to work in our Arlington, VA office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.
The Readiness Analyst provides analytical and programmatic support to Army G-8 leadership by assessing equipping readiness and identifying systemic shortfalls across Army units. This role conducts data trend analysis, reviews JCIDS and acquisition documents, and develops solutions to improve unit readiness while ensuring alignment with Army modernization priorities. Leveraging tools like ARMS, AE2S, and business intelligence platforms, the analyst prepares senior leader briefings, develops resourcing options, and supports decision-making in forums such as SPAR, POM, and Army Readiness reviews. With expertise in readiness analysis and force development, the analyst delivers actionable insights that strengthen Army operational capability and resource planning.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's Degree of higher in Business or Engineering field
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience and expertise in Force Development duties
- Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of Army and unit equipping readiness, identifying equipment readiness issues proposing solution sets. Must be able to identify the root causes of Army Equipment on Hand (EOH) un- readiness and systemic reported equipment shortages as recorded by the Army Readiness Management System (ARMS).
- Ability to perform data trend analysis that includes coordination and staffing with ACOMs, G-4 and AMC.
- Proficient in MS Office Products that include MS Word, MS Access MS Power Point and MS Excel. The contractor will be able to use MS Excel to use formulas and functions to manipulate data (pivot tables), create charts and graphs to visualize information and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights
- Interdisciplinary skill set of PPBE, DOD acquisition processes and procedures (DoDI 5000.2) as well as expertise with materiel and /or force structure requirements development and validation (JCIDS).
