SAP S/4HANA Service & Warranty Lead-Automotive Client

* Start: ASAP (targeting roughly 1 week lead time).

* Duration: Long-term project.

* Location: US-based candidates only

* Type: On-site flexibility for Bay Area (yes full-time / yes month on-site then remote)

* Work authorization: (no employer) No H1B transfers.

* Rate: $85/ hr on W2

We're supporting an automotive client in the Bay Area on a long-term SAP S/4HANA engagement. We're looking for a senior profile who can act as the functional owner for Service Management and Warranty. This is focused on post-sale / after-sales processes: service notifications, service orders, field service execution, warranty entitlement, claims/recovery, and how all of that ties into SD/MM/FI/CO for cost and billing.

Key points on the role:

* This is not generic SAP SD/MM support. We need someone who understands how service and warranty work after the product is sold.

* The person will sit between the client stakeholders and the SI. They will review proposed design, push back where needed, and make sure the service/warranty process will actually work operationally.

* Typical flow they should be able to explain: customer reports an issue service order gets created and dispatched technician time and parts are captured entitlement / warranty / contract rules decide who pays billing/claim is generated and posted correctly.

* Must have background in SAP S/4HANA Service with real exposure to:

Warranty entitlement and claim handling

Service contracts and service orders

Installed base / equipment master / serial tracking

Integration to SD (billing), MM (spares), FI/CO (cost and recovery)

* Preference will be given to someone who can spend time at the client's Bay Area location. Second preference: on-site for ~1 month to stabilize, then remote. Fully remote is not first choice unless the profile is exceptional.
