Job OverviewHow You Will Make An Impact:- Assisting in running Network and fiber cables both inside and outside the MDF/IDF
- Maintaining a secure work environment, (cleanliness and safety guidelines)
- Assisting in critical network infrastructure environment maintenance tasks
- Correctly label racks/IDFs
- Following existing methods of procedure (MOP)
- Handling patching requests copper and fiber
- IDF clean-up hygiene tasks at assigned location(s)
- Supporting projects requested by manager
- Testing and troubleshoot basic copper and fiber links
- Testing and troubleshoot complex multipoint circuits
- 80 % travel with in the Bay Area
What You Will Need To Succeed:- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5-7 years experience with fiber and copper patching
- Effective time management skills and the ability to work independently
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Must have reliable/personal transportation
- Keen attention to detail is required
- Ability to read and understand maps/diagrams
- Must be able to lift 60 pounds
- Able to work on a ladder at 20' high
- Reliable transportation
Preferred:- Certifications in technology specific areas, networking, or management preferred
- Certifications preferred: A+, N+, S+, (CompTIA Certs), MCP
- OSHA-10
- Boom/Scissor lift
Growth Potential:- Infrastructure Operations Technician L1 (With Training)
- Lab Network Technician L1 (With Training)
- Network Deployment Technician L1 (With Training)

CompensationEstimated Pay Range: The estimated pay range for this position is USD $22.00/Hr. - USD $50.00/Hr. and is a Non-Exempt role.
Exact compensation and offers of employment are dependent on circumstances of each case and will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, licenses or certifications, and location.
