Job Title: Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) Consultant



Location: Houston, TX (On-site preferred)



Job Type: Contract



Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement data quality solutions using Oracle Enterprise Data Quality (EDQ) tools.
  • Perform data profiling, cleansing, matching, and standardization for enterprise-level data sets.
  • Configure and customize EDQ processes, rules, match processors, and address verification (Loqate/EDQ Address Verify).
  • Integrate EDQ with Oracle and non-Oracle systems (e.g., Oracle EBS, Fusion Cloud, Siebel, databases, ETL tools).
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and data governance teams to define data quality rules and KPIs.




Required Prominent Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EDQ (formerly Oracle Data Quality / OEDQ)
  • Expert-level proficiency in EDQ Director, Case Management, and EDQ web services
  • Strong expertise in data profiling, parsing, standardization, matching (deterministic & probabilistic), and deduplication
  • Experience with EDQ Address Verification (Loqate) and real-time/web-service integrations
  • Solid SQL/PL-SQL skills and understanding of relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
  • Experience integrating EDQ with Oracle Cloud (OCI), Fusion Applications, or EBS is a strong plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team in Houston, TX




Preferred: Oracle EDQ certification, experience in oil & gas/energy sector is an advantage.
