Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager II to join our IT department and support the remediation of End-of-Life SharePoint technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing projects in the IT space, with a proven track record of delivering projects using Agile methodologies. This role requires excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple projects in the Enterprise Solutions IT department, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to plan, execute, and monitor project progress, ensuring continuous improvement and adaptability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Power Grid Operations, Natural Gas Business Unit, Nuclear, along with other business units, to refine project requirements, objectives, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project performance against established metrics.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate project status, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders, including senior management and project sponsors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards, as well as industry s best practices.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. A master s degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on IT projects.
- Strong knowledge and experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) certification is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project and JIRA.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
