AEM Developer
Duration: 3 Months+
Hybrid Role: 3 Days/week
6-8 of IT experience
4+ years of experience in AEM.
Production support background is a plus.
AEM applications and infrastructure (AEM Sites, Assets, Forms, Dispatcher, and Publish instances).
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues, including performance bottlenecks, replication issues, workflow failures, and deployment errors.
* Monitor AEM logs, JVM health, replication agents, and dispatcher cache.
* Perform aem upgrades, hotfix and service pack installations, and configuration changes in production and lower environments.
* Support code deployments, rollbacks, and AEM content package management.
* Manage AEM services running on Linux servers, including monitoring, restarts, and cron-based health checks.
* Collaborate with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.
* Debug and analyze Java exceptions, memory leaks, thread dumps, and garbage collection logs.
* Maintain AEM user permissions, replication queues, and workflows.
* Automate routine maintenance tasks using shell scripting or Groovy scripts or python.
* Ensure security compliance, perform regular audits, and manage SSL certificates and reverse proxies.
Strong proficiency in Java / J2EE, including experience debugging Java code in AEM.
* Solid hands-on experience with Linux/Unix command-line tools and shell scripting.
* Familiarity with AEM architecture author, publish, dispatcher, replication, OSGi bundles, Sling models, workflows.
* Experience analyzing AEM error logs, thread dumps, and heap dumps.
* Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Maven for AEM builds.
* Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Splunk, ELK, Cloud).
