Job Description
This position is a Network Administrator working multiple LM Space Business Area Direct Programs. This position is responsible for supporting Tier 1 through Tier 3 network issues across multiple environments, supporting infrastructure changes, large infrastructure projects, and providing overall service consistent with customer care objectives. The position requires successful utilization of senior level experience in network engineering, network operations, network performance tools/analysis, project management, and systems integration. This network professional will ensure that Lockheed Martin networks are managed, controlled, and updated in a manner consistent with both Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. All work must be performed on-site, including some off-shift hours, weekends, and occasional travel.
**In light of current internal business pressures, priority consideration will be given to qualified candidates who are currently affiliated with the Enterprise Business & Digital Transformation (EBDT) organization**
Basic Qualifications
*Comp TIA Security+ certification
*Experience with Cisco Routers and Switches
*Knowledge of type 1 encryptor (TACLANE)
*Experience with Firewalls
*Experience troubleshooting network anomalies and failures
*Experience in planning of network system
development activities
*Knowledge of configuration management
methods and practices
*Implementation, analysis, support and troubleshooting of closed environments
*Active DoD Secret Clearance required
*Ability to lift 35 lbs
Desired skills
* Professional certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or Juniper certifications
* Experience with WAN services
* Experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
* Working knowledge of Data Centers
* Skills related to network design, diagnostics and optimization
* Knowledge of system engineering processes
* Knowledge of Service Now or trouble ticketing systems

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $81,600 - $143,865. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
