CDW is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join our IT team on a three-month onsite contract in Arlington, VA. The top priority for this role is providing strong AV support, including setup, configuration, and installation of AV equipment. CDW is seeking a Desktop Engineer to join our IT team on a three-month onsite contract in Arlington, VA. The top priority for this role is providing strong AV support, including setup, configuration, and installation of AV equipment. The ideal candidate will also bring experience supporting Mac and Windows environments, along with a strong customer service mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide A/V support, including setup, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Support Apple devices (MacBook, Mac Mini) and Microsoft Windows devices.
- Administer Office 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange).
- Deploy patches and applications using tools like Intune, Jamf, or Desktop Central.
- Support plant systems (VoIP, CCTV, radios, access control).
- Monitor backups and support end-user IT needs across devices.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years supporting Windows; 3+ years supporting Apple environments.
- Strong AV experience is required.
- Experience with MDM tools, Office 365, and basic networking (TCP/IP).
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. and work onsite, including walking outdoors and climbing stairs.
- Apple or Windows certifications are a plus.
