Job Description

The client is looking for a Systems Engineer to manage and support enterprise IT infrastructure. The role focuses on server management, virtualization, storage, and backup while ensuring high system reliability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Windows Servers, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs.

• Configure and maintain VMware ESXi and Nutanix clusters for virtualization and resource optimization.

• Manage enterprise storage solutions like Synology and Nutanix Files.

• Deploy patches and updates via SCCM to servers and workstations.

• Maintain Veeam Backup & Replication and verify disaster recovery readiness.

• Collaborate with NOC, cybersecurity, and support teams to resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience supporting IT systems (servers, networking, virtualization).

• Strong proficiency in Windows Server administration.

• Hands-on expertise with VMware (ESXi, vCenter, vSAN).

• Experience with Veeam Backup & Replication.

• Knowledge of Linux OS, networking (VLANs, routing, firewalls), and SCCM patching.

• Familiarity with Nutanix HCI (preferred).

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
