The Control System Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of control systems for end-of-line test equipment for electro-mechanical products. The engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure that all products meet safety, performance, and efficiency standards.

The Control System Engineer is responsible for the design, development, testing, and continuous improvement of control systems for end-of-line test equipment for electro-mechanical products. The engineer will collaborate with a cross-functional team to ensure that all products meet safety, performance, and efficiency standards.
What You Will Do
- Design, develop, analyze, test, and verify control systems.
- Integration and simulation of control systems and testing capabilities.
- Develop Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) systems.
- Perform initial product acceptance testing and analyze test data to identify and address key product failures.
- Develop statistical analysis programs and apply that methodology to determine failure modes and implement continuous improvements for test capabilities and yield.
Education and/or Experience We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- In-depth understanding of control system design techniques.
- Strong understanding of Statistical Process Controls and related techniques.
- Advanced experience and proficiency in programming with LabView.
Desired Qualifications:
- Familiarity with control panel design, panel wiring, and field wiring diagrams.
- Lean practices knowledge (Green-belt preferred).
- Electronics expertise, including troubleshooting to component level and understanding of analog and digital circuitry and circuit design.
- Proficiency with electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, spectrum analyzers).
- Experience with microcontroller platforms (e.g., Arduino) and familiarity with PLC ladder logic.
- Knowledge of communication protocols (Serial, SPI, I2C, GPIB, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, Ethernet, TCP/IP).
