Contract: 6+months
Hours per week: 40 hours
Shift: C Fri/Sat/Sun (5:00AM-6:00PM)
Position Summary:
As a Test Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our flight hardware.
You'll work hands-on with cutting-edge test systems-thermal, vibration, and pressure-to validate hardware under extreme conditions.
You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support testing operations, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement in our test processes.

Position Summary:
As a Test Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our flight hardware.

You'll collaborate closely with engineers and cross-functional teams to support testing operations, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement in our test processes.
Responsibilities
- Execute environmental stress screening (thermal, vibration, pressure) on flight hardware in accordance with internal procedures.
- Support the setup, operation, and maintenance of test equipment including vibration tables, thermal chambers, pressure systems, and data acquisition systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with sensors and instrumentation (e.g., pressure transducers, thermocouples, voltage/current meters, mass flow meters).
- Collaborate with test engineers and communicate effectively with management to coordinate daily test activities.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment aligned with 5S standards and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Safely operate complex test systems in a fast-paced environment.
- Manage multiple test projects simultaneously while meeting operational timelines.
- Configure test setups, fixtures, and instrumentation based on test plans and engineering standards.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to cost, schedule, and technical performance.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2-4+ years of hands-on experience in environmental testing (vibration, shock, or performance testing).
- High school diploma or GED with 3-5 years of relevant technical experience.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and provide clear status updates.
- Self-starter with the ability to navigate ambiguity, build trust, and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Familiarity with manufacturing and test procedures, data acquisition systems, and data analysis.
- Experience interpreting technical drawings, work instructions, and shop orders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
- Comfortable working with electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic test equipment.
- Physically able to climb ladders/stairs and lift up to 50 lbs for short durations.
