Job Details
We re seeking a Recruiter with a proven track record in IT contract staffing within a staffing agency setting. This is a remote role, but you must be available to work full-time on Eastern Time (ET). This is not an HR or internal talent acquisition position. It s a high-impact, production-focused role for someone who thrives in the hustle of agency life.
Key Responsibilities: Source, screen, and submit qualified IT professionals for contract and contract-to-hire roles with our clients.
- Use a variety of sourcing techniques (LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals, internal database) to identify top talent.
- Manage candidate relationships throughout the full recruiting life cycle: from first contact through onboarding and beyond.
- Maintain accurate records of candidate activity in ATS/CRM systems (we use JobDiva).
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development teams to understand client needs and market dynamics.
- Negotiate rates and close candidates with speed and precision.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a recruiter in a contract IT staffing agency (not corporate/in-house recruiting).
- Deep understanding of contract placements, including bill/pay rates, corp-to-corp, 1099, and W2 classifications.
- Strong working knowledge of technical roles (e.g., Developers, Cloud Engineers, DevOps, QA, PMs, Data Analysts).
- Proven success in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
- Excellent sourcing, candidate engagement, and closing skills.
