Responsible for translating vision and strategy for their product portfolio into software solutions in partnership with product line managers, other technical product managers, user experience team and development team.
The Senior Product Manager works closely with customers to understand their needs, and test concepts and solutions. They also engage with internal stakeholders including sales, marketing, implementation, training and support teams to gather their customer insights and their own functional needs.
The Senior Product Manger serves as the bridge between both internal and external stakeholders and development teams, ensuring successful product execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develops a deep understanding of the product vision, target customer segments, and long-term priorities while ensuring alignment and communication with senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Collaborates with internal teams (engineering, marketing, sales, implementation, training, and support) to gather insights, align priorities, and ensure successful product development and launch execution.
- Acts as the voice of the customer, engaging with user experience and development teams to validate and refine solutions throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Qualifications Education:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Business Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 years in product management for software products, preferably in B2B enterprise SaaS or Tax & Accounting solutions (including CPA firm experience).
- Hands-on experience in Agile Scrum methodologies as a Product Owner/Technical Product Manager
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle, including backlog grooming, user story creation, and iterative planning.
- Experience collaborating with UX and technical teams to design an refine products based on customer research (interviews, concept testing, usability testing).
