Job Title: Agile Practitioner / Scrum Master

JOB SUMMARY
Widescope Consulting and Contracting is proud to serve our nation's military and Veterans. Our information technology support services is designed to help people live healthier lives. Widescope is seeking an experienced Agile Practitioner / Scrum Master, who is a champion Agile principles by guiding teams and organizations in understanding and applying frameworks, methods, and techniques that foster agility.
As an Agile Practitioner, you ensure that agile frameworks, methods, and techniques are fully understood and effectively applied. You guide teams and the broader organization in embracing the values of the Agile Manifesto and its twelve principles. Acting as a servant leader, you help employees, teams, and stakeholders adopt modern product-development practices. You serve as a facilitator, trainer, coach, and mentor—supporting individuals, teams, and the enterprise as a whole.
Rather than being defined by a title, you focus on delivering value and fostering an environment where healthy, high-performing, cross-functional teams can thrive. Depending on organizational needs and your own strengths, you may serve as a Scrum Master, Team Coach, or Enterprise Coach.
You are committed to continuous improvement—of your own skills, your team’s effectiveness, and the organization’s broader agile maturity. You measure progress through learning milestones and champion the five elements of a learning organization: personal mastery, mental models, shared vision, team learning, and systems thinking. You uphold the five Scrum values of focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
Key Requirements Include:
- • 1+ years of Product and IT experience
• 1+ years leading transformation efforts spanning across at least business and technology
• 1+ years of experience applying multiple agile frameworks like Scrum, Kanban, LeSS
• 1+ years in the role of Scrum Master, Product Owner, or Agile Coach
• 1+ years of leading / managing people
• 1+ years of experience working on large scale, multiple Scrum team projects
• Curriculum development and delivery
• Experience with developing DevOps practices and culture
• Excellent English communication skills in written and spoken form
• Excellent speaking, facilitating and resolution skills
• Experience leveraging AI tools in the software development (or product) lifecycle in order to improve quality and efficiency
• Willingness and ability to travel 25% of the time
• United States Citizenship
• Ability to obtain favorable adjudication following submission of Depart of Defense eQuip Form SF86 (_fill/sf86.pdf)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Guide level certification (CTC, CEC, ICF-ACC)
- Scaling of Scrum Certification(s)
- Healthcare experience
- Understanding of other processes and methodologies and can speak intelligently about them and leverage other techniques to provide value to a team/enterprise
- Familiarity with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices Participation in industry agile communities
