We're looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a strong background in Databricks and Python to help design and build modern data pipelines that support advanced analytics and business intelligence. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on delivering scalable, cloud-based data solutions using the Databricks platform.

Required Experience

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering
• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Databricks, including Delta Lake and Lakehouse architecture
• Strong programming experience with Python for data transformation and pipeline automation
• Experience with pipeline orchestration tools such as Airflow, dbt, or similar
• Proficient in writing efficient and reliable SQL for data modeling and analysis
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and modern data stack components
• Solid grasp of data engineering best practices, data quality, and CI/CD workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate or equivalent certification
• Experience building analytics-ready datasets and collaborating with data science or BI teams
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or deployment automation is a plus

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust data pipelines using Databricks and Python
• Build modular, reusable transformation frameworks for structured and semi-structured data
• Automate data workflows using orchestration tools to ensure reliability and scalability
• Monitor, test, and continuously improve pipeline performance and data integrity
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, production-ready data products

Education

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field (Master s a plus)
