Title: Data Analytics Engineer

Summary: The position will be responsible for delivering a new data analytics solution to facilitate consolidated analysis and reporting from multiple financial systems. This will include selecting, architecting, and implementing data analytics tools, platforms, and infrastructures. Upon successful implementation, long-term responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining structures for the inflow, transformation, and consolidation of data. The role will also develop data visualization solutions for end-users. Emphasis will be on exceptionally reliable and accurate solutions to ensure the accounting department is providing accurate and consistent information for operational and executive decision making. As a senior level role, it will be expected to operate independently, requiring minimal supervision.

General Responsibilities
- Architect a consolidated reporting solution for multiple cloud and on-premises financial systems.
- Design, build, and optimize data pipelines.
- Develop and manage processes to extract data from different systems, transform into a consistent format, and load it into data warehouses or data lakes.
- Implement data quality checks and monitoring to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Identify and address data quality issues, analyze anomalies, and investigate solutions to complex data problems.
- Create visual representations of data utilizing charts, graphs, and dashboards to effectively communicate insights.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Provide technical mentoring to team members.
- Other financial system duties as warranted or directed.
Minimum Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in SQL, data transformation, data pipelines, and data visualization
- Proficiency with data modeling techniques and data warehousing principles
- Familiar with fundamental accounting concepts

- Engineering work environment
