Job Description:

REMOTE TYPE: Office

JOB LOCATION: 12515 Innovation Way, Alpharetta, GA 30004

DUTIES: Deploy software updates on a cloud platform comprised of Linux OS, BIOS/ firmware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, Maria DB and other software components. Perform work focusing on software, maintenance, and operations of systems. Utilize feasibility assessments, create requirements, manage projects, and integrate and test technical solutions for software. Apply advanced knowledge of KVM, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms and monitor the server Infrastructure. Work on operations and maintenance of OpenStack modules such as Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel. Utilize concepts including High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, and shared resources. Create, review, approve, and implement changes in NC server environment and infrastructure from hardware, OpenStack, OS perspective in outage, and service degradation scenarios. Code using Python, shell scripting, CI/CD Pipeline in Jenkins, and GitHub. Work with OS vendors, development teams, production support teams for root cause analysis, and configuration changes. Coordinate with hardware vendors for faulty Hardware replacement. Utilize Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, API, Ansible, TCP/IP Networking, and SSL/TLS Certificates.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Information Systems Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or three (3) years of experience in a related occupation deploying software updates on a cloud platform comprised of Linux OS, BIOS/ firmware, OpenStack, Kubernetes, Calico, Ceph, Maria DB and other software components; applying advanced knowledge of KVM, Containers, Cloud Infrastructure platforms and monitor the server Infrastructure; working on operations and maintenance of OpenStack modules such as Keystone, Nova, Neutron, Swift, Cinder, Heat, Glance, Horizon, and Fuel; utilizing concepts including High Availability, DRS, Fault Tolerance, Scalability, Reliability, and shared resources; coding using Python, shell scripting, CI/CD Pipeline in Jenkins, and GitHub; and utilizing Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana, API, Ansible, TCP/IP Networking, and SSL/TLS Certificates.
