Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-office at least 4 times a week.
  • Providing assistance to LAHD staff who are experiencing technical issues.
  • Develop scripts using batch files and PowerShell to automate routine tasks and support helpdesk operations.
  • Maintain hardware inventory and install/modify hardware.
  • Create and update procedures, instructions, technical documentation, and generate reports.
  • Learn software and train users.
  • Assist in salvage programs for legacy equipment.
  • Conduct oneself in a helpful, customer service, and professional manner.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting in a constantly changing environment.
  • Must be able to lift 25lbs.
  • Image PCs and maintain updates.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science.
  • Driver's License.
  • 1 year of experience in technical support.
  • Foundational understanding of application development process.
