Overview:
Our client is migrating their Guidewire PolicyCenter from on-premises to the cloud and is seeking an experienced Migration Architect to lead this transformation. This role will define the migration strategy, ensure best practices, and drive a seamless transition with minimal business disruption.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end migration of Guidewire PolicyCenter to a cloud environment.
- Assess current on-prem architecture and create a detailed migration roadmap.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and development teams.
- Ensure compliance with cloud architecture, performance, and security standards.
- Identify and mitigate risks throughout the migration process.
- Provide technical leadership, documentation, and post-migration strategies.
Required Skills:
- Proven expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter and Guidewire Cloud implementations/migrations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience in data migration, system integration, and modernization projects.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud security practices.
- Experience in the insurance or regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with cloud migration tools and automation frameworks.
Preferred:
- Guidewire certifications (PolicyCenter or Cloud).
