Position :- Senior Business Analyst

Contract :- W2

Job Summary

The Senior Business Analyst will lead business analysis efforts for complex projects by working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to understand business needs, translate them into functional requirements, and ensure solutions align with strategic goals. The role requires strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills to drive initiatives from concept through successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead requirements gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and business workshops.

  • Analyze business processes, identify gaps, and recommend solutions or process improvements.

  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Management, Development, QA, and UX/UI.

  • Prepare business process models, data flow diagrams, and other documentation using standard modeling techniques (e.g., BPMN, UML).

  • Support project planning, impact assessment, and risk analysis activities.

  • Facilitate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Ensure traceability of requirements through design, testing, and deployment.

  • Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with stakeholders for validation and sign-off.

  • Mentor junior business analysts and contribute to continuous improvement of BA best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (Master s preferred).

  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).

  • Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and stakeholder management.

  • Proficiency in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or similar.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in domains such as Healthcare, Insurance, or IT Services.

  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau), or SQL.

  • Certification in CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, or Agile (CSPO/PSPO) is a plus.
