About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Level 1 Customer Support & Administrative Assistant. This dual role position will support the Perinatal Project by providing first-level customer service and technical assistance, while also contributing to general office operations. The ideal candidate will be based in our office and play a key role in ensuring smooth communication, issue resolution, and internal coordination during the rollout of our new CRM/help desk system.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Support
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or ticketing system.
- Provide Level 1 technical support and escalate complex issues as needed.
- Document and track issues using Redmine or vTiger CRM platforms.
- Support the phased implementation of the new system, including during the dual-system transition period.
Office & Administrative Support
- Assist with general office tasks such as document preparation, data entry, and internal communications.
- Manage and manipulate documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PDFs, and basic image editing tools.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely support and information flow.
- Maintain organized records and assist with reporting as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong command of the English language.
- Proficiency in office automation tools (Microsoft Office Suite, PDF tools, basic image editing).
- Ability to learn and adapt to new software platforms (training will be provided for CRM systems).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer support or administrative roles.
- Familiarity with Redmine, vTiger, or other CRM/help desk platforms.
- Experience in healthcare or government environments is a plus.
