Job Details

Job Summary The Technical Project Manager is responsible for managing complex technology programs involving multi-skilled teams across multiple geographies. The role requires expertise in technical project management, stakeholder management, and leadership to ensure successful delivery of IT software development and support projects on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of technical programs across domains such as retail, eCommerce, and supply chain technology. Define and manage program scope, objectives, roadmaps, and measurable success criteria in partnership with business and technical stakeholders. Conduct Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and release management. Collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. Serve as the single point of contact for all stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing issues, risks, and dependencies. Ensure compliance with IT standards, governance, and security requirements. Track and report key delivery metrics such as velocity, quality, cost, and productivity. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including automation and AI-based productivity tools. Lead global cross-functional teams through effective communication and people management. Manage stakeholder relationships and communication plans to ensure alignment across business and technical teams. Oversee risk and issue management by identifying dependencies, developing mitigation plans, and executing contingency actions. Support system integration testing, defect triage, and prioritization of defects based on severity. Implement governance frameworks and tailor quality guidelines to meet specific project needs. Collaborate on account management processes to deliver value through innovation, automation, and process improvements. Mentor team members, assess skill levels, and develop enhancement plans to foster professional growth. Participate in project management forums to share best practices and lessons learned. Required Qualifications 8+ years of program/project management experience, with at least 6 years managing technology-focused initiatives. Proven track record in managing complex IT software development and support projects. Proficiency in Agile methodologies, project scheduling, and delivery tracking. Strong knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, and MS Project. Experience with modern technology stacks including Cloud platforms, APIs, Kafka, Cassandra, Pub/Sub, and DevOps practices. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Strong understanding of software engineering processes, estimation techniques, and risk management frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Experience delivering large-scale technology programs in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain environments. Familiarity with AI-based productivity tools and automation frameworks. Exposure to structured project management methodologies and metrics-based performance tracking. Understanding of solution structuring and ability to develop proofs of concept (POCs). Education: Bachelors Degree
