Buyer- ERP

Buyer with ERP and SAP experience needed for a growing Fortune 500 company. Working experience in SAP material master module strongly preferred and purchasing. Associates degree or Diploma with at least 3 years of experience as a Buyer

- Demonstrated experience working in ERP (SAP experience)

- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word and Outlook

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Must have the ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage relationships with in-ternal and external supplier, colleagues and customers. Onsite in Mechanicsville VA required.

Basic Function:

- Purchase materials as needed for Traction's business.

- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures

- Manage Vendor Managed Inventory hardware and expense items needed for Traction production and warehouse.

- Assist with Guided buying orders and other MRO items

- Assist the Warehouse with inventory issues

- Efficiently handle invoice processing for purchase orders that have been created.

- Update supplier pricing as needed, in SAP and in purchase orders.

- Expedite critical parts as needed for production and other departments.

- Work and manage supplier confirmations and late delivery reports.

- Communicate to the team when critical material will not be available in time.

- Coordinate pickups with logistics carriers and this involves scheduling and confirming pickup and tracking shipment's progress.

Qualifications:

- Associates degree or Diploma with at least 3 years of experience as a Buyer

- Demonstrated experience working in ERP (SAP experience required)

- Knowledge of MS Excel and Word and Outlook

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Must have the ability to communicate, collaborate, and manage relationships with in-ternal and external supplier, colleagues and customers.
