JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsible for the overall data engineering design, architecture, and implementation of the Data engineering solution. Acts as the onsite technical lead coordinating with offshore teams and client stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end data pipeline design and architecture for Data engineering, including ingestion, transformation, and lineage.

Design secure data workflows ensuring compliance with governance and privacy standards.

Collaborate with cloud admins, backend engineers, and client data teams for seamless integration with Google Cloud Platform and GBQ.

Translate business requirements into data models, ETL workflows, and access policies.

Define data access, encryption, and anonymization strategies for multi-organization collaboration.

Mentor offshore engineers and ensure consistency in delivery.

Oversee performance optimization, scalability, and reliability of the data layer.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong in Data Engineering with experience in client-facing leadership roles.

Strong expertise in PySpark, SQL, and Google BigQuery.

Hands-on with Google Cloud Platform services: IAM, Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Storage.

Solid understanding of data privacy, encryption, and clean room concepts.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
