Teamcenter Manufacturing Solution Architect
Remote - Some travel to east coast required - up to 20%
We are seeking a highly skilled Teamcenter Manufacturing Solutions Architect to lead the design, deployment, and configuration of Siemens Teamcenter solutions within our digital manufacturing ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Teamcenter Manufacturing modules, with a strong focus on solution architecture, system integration, deployment strategies, and hands-on configuration. This role will be instrumental in enabling digital thread initiatives and optimizing manufacturing processes across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of Teamcenter Manufacturing solutions (MOM, MPP, MBOM, EBOM, BOP, etc.)
Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and define scalable, secure, and performant Teamcenter solutions.
Configure and customize Teamcenter Manufacturing modules to meet user and business needs.
Develop and execute deployment strategies including staging, validation, and rollout across global environments.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on data modeling, workflows, change management, and integrations (e.g., ERP, MES, PLM-CAD).
Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, cybersecurity protocols, and software lifecycle management.
Work closely with customer and 3rd party consultants to implement best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance, configurations, and integrations.
Create technical documentation, deployment plans, and support user training sessions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
7+ years of experience with Teamcenter, with at least 3+ years in a Solutions Architect role.
Strong knowledge of Teamcenter Manufacturing modules including MPP, MBOM/BOP, and integration with shop floor and ERP systems.
Proven experience in large-scale Teamcenter deployments, upgrades, and system configurations.
Proficient in IT infrastructure concepts (cloud, on-prem, hybrid), application lifecycle management, and DevOps methodologies.
Solid understanding of Java, XML, ITK, and Teamcenter SOA/Active Workspace customization is a plus.
Experience with Siemens Opcenter or other MES systems is desirable.
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
