IT Project Manager
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will lead the execution of highly complex and strategically prioritized technical initiatives. You will be responsible for managing the full delivery lifecycle of enterprise-class solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving impactful outcomes across cross-functional teams. This role is pivotal in shaping the digital and physical guest experiences for our client.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of technical projects, ensuring timely and on-budget execution.
- Collaborate with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Architects, project managers, scrum master and leadership to define and optimize processes across program areas.
- Develop and manage Agile ceremonies and workflows for large, distributed teams.
- Create and maintain program plans involving parallel projects and multiple project managers.
- Monitor and adjust plans to respond to changes, ensuring alignment with strategic business goals.
- Manage hardware/software procurement and infrastructure needs for assigned projects.
- Establish governance practices for fiscal control, authorization, expenditure tracking, and ROI reporting.
- Provide senior-level oversight and leadership across all program activities.
- Ensure alignment between product roadmaps and business objectives.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting strategic outcomes.
Skillset / Experience:
- 5+ years in technical project/program management with enterprise-class solutions.
- Technical Aptitude:
- Strong understanding of Cloud, APIs, services, databases, platform dependencies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Familiarity with engineering and product development tools and roles.
- Hands-on experience with Agile, Lean, Kanban, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
- Deep knowledge of Agile technical practices, DevOps, CI/CD.
- Ability to coach and mentor teams on Agile and traditional project management practices.
- Strong grasp of architectural and technical aspects of projects.
- Leadership & Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Professional maturity, organizational savvy, and multitasking ability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Smartsheet.
- Experience with project management tools such as MyPPM (Clarity), Jira.
- Familiarity with reporting tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
- Financial Management:
- Experience managing large budgets and reporting on ROI.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent relevant experience.
Nice to Have:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
- Agile Certifications (e.g., CSM, ACP, CPO, SAFe).
- Experience supporting large-scale, global software development programs.
- Preferred: Master s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
