About the Role

We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with deep expertise in monitoring, debugging, and optimizing Azure App Services. This role is essential to maintaining the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platforms as we grow. You'll work at the intersection of infrastructure, development, and performance-leveraging automation, observability, and hands-on Azure experience to deliver an exceptional experience for patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

Monitoring & Debugging
  • Design and implement monitoring systems for Azure-based applications.
  • Build custom dashboards using Azure Application Insights and Azure Monitor.
  • Analyze logs, metrics, and traces to proactively troubleshoot issues.
  • Debug code using C#, .NET, Angular, and SQL.

Azure App Service Expertise
  • Optimize performance through deep understanding of Azure App Service architecture.
  • Configure, manage, and scale App Service environments.

Tooling & Automation
  • Use Diagnose and Troubleshoot Tools, Kudu, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Automate monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows.

Application Performance Monitoring
  • Utilize tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or other APM platforms.
  • Adapt quickly to new monitoring tools and frameworks.

Collaboration & Communication
  • Partner with developers and operations to design monitoring solutions.
  • Document and communicate findings, solutions, and RCA reports.


Qualifications

Education & Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification required.

Experience & Skills
  • Proven SRE experience with a focus on monitoring, debugging, and incident response.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure App Services, Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
  • Skilled in Diagnose and Troubleshoot Tools, Kudu, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Strong programming fundamentals in .NET/C# and Angular.
  • Experience in on-call operations and RCA documentation.

Bonus Skills
  • Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Dynatrace.
  • Familiarity with Azure Front Door, CDN, Function Apps, WebJobs, Service Bus, Event Hub.
  • Additional Azure certifications are a strong plus.

Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.
