Job Description

Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Supervisor to support the Engineering/Maintenance Department that will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the resort's preventative maintenance program. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and efficiency of all mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring the property remains in excellent working condition and delivers an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and schedule the preventative maintenance team to ensure timely and thorough completion of routine maintenance tasks across all resort facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to identify and address maintenance needs proactively.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to develop, implement, and refine preventative maintenance plans and procedures.
  • Ensure all maintenance work meets Omni Hotels & Resorts' safety and quality standards.
  • Train and mentor maintenance staff to maintain a high-performance, safety-focused work environment.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
  • Coordinate with other departments to minimize disruptions and support seamless resort operations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of maintenance experience in a hospitality or commercial setting; previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred.
  • Proven leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • EPA Universal Certification and/or other relevant technical certifications a plus.
