Overview

As a Cloud Engineer on our Chief Investment Officers (CIO) Technologies team, you will partner with our global engineering team and business stakeholders to deliver value by building high-quality software products via agile development lifecycle. You contribute to the wider objectives to ensure flow, consistent standards, and approach with common shared framework. What You'll Do
  • Continuously strive to improve architectural standards and code quality (clean code principles)
  • Work in an interdisciplinary and independent manner
  • Precision under tight deadlines
  • Utilize solution-oriented approaches
  • Work closely with product owners, architects, scrum masters, project managers, and development team
Skills You'll Need
  • Experience troubleshooting challenging software production problems
  • Understanding of public cloud
  • Experience in .Net core, C#, building Microservices, Cloud Development (Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)/Azure/AWS), Application Programming Interface (API's) development, Python, and Java
  • Familiarity with performance optimization, security enhancement, containerization tools (such as docker)
  • Knowledge of unit tests, integration tests, system tests, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment or Development (CI/CD) pipelines (GitHub actions, and deployment with Kubernetes)

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in Cary is $95,000 to $140,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
