The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking a Network Operations Lead to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation's information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, an cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).
Job Description
The Network Operations Lead is responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and support of the agency's enterprise network infrastructure. This includes core network services, perimeter security, and field office connectivity. The role demands expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto technologies to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable operations.
Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day operations of enterprise network infrastructure.
Monitor and optimize network performance, availability, and security.
Oversee implementation and maintenance of Cisco switching/routing and Palo Alto firewalls.
Coordinate upgrades, patching, and lifecycle management of network devices.
Respond to and investigate network incidents, coordinating resolution and documentation.
Collaborate with cloud, server, and security teams to support integrated architecture.
Develop network diagrams, documentation, and performance reports.
Maintain compliance with federal security standards and policies.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
It is required that the Network Operations Lead have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Fourteen (14) or more years of experience in enterprise network operations. An additional four (4) years of experience in enterprise network operations may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must have IAT-II certification (i.e., CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND and/or Security+ CE).
- Must possess a Cisco (CCNP or higher) Certification.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, VLANs, SD-WAN, and perimeter security.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, configuration management and network automation.
