DESCRIPTION:

IMPORTANT:

This position is on site, and it is located in Eddyville, IA. Relocation Support (within USA) will be provided for this position.

ROLE:

The Maintenance and Reliability Senior Supervisor directs and coordinates the activities of a team engaged in repair, maintenance and installation of machines tools and equipment, maintenance of buildings and grounds and utility systems. We seek a seasoned professional with the interpersonal skills to foster a culture of providing safe, quality, and cost-effective maintenance programs. In this role you will lead our team of highly technical individuals to troubleshoot and handle problems.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Develop preventive maintenance programs.
  • Coordinate and integrates with other plant functions to ensure support.
  • Ensure work is performed following safety guidelines to ensure health and wellbeing of employees.
  • Resolve maintenance priorities based on established plans and assigns tasks.
  • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure that disruption to production is minimized.
  • Lead and develop a team, coach and make decisions related to talent management, hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience managing tasks across multiple crafts (electrical, welding, mechanical)
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Supervisory Experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4+ years of supervisory experience managing technical engineering teams.
  • Certified maintenance reliability professional or similar certification
  • Training in predictive maintenance technologies
  • Training and knowledge of management of the proactive maintenance model
  • Experience in production, maintenance, or project management.
  • Experience leading teams OR driving results through teams.
  • Lean Six sigma yellow or green belt certification.
  • Experience with SAP

IDEAL CANDIDATE will have:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Certified reliability professional certification with 6+ years of experience in industrial environments
  • Experience managing reliability programs
  • Supervisory experience leading technical teams.
