Electrical Engineer

Must Haves:

• 2+ years of experience working as a Lead Electrical Design Engineer


• Directly managing Electrical/CAD design teams


• Providing technical leadership and guidance on the design, specification, and implementation of electrical systems and control panels


• Providing status updates to the Engineering Manager and Project Management Team


• 3-5+ years of experience working as an Electrical Design Engineer


• 3-5+ years of experience working with AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, SEE Electrical, SOLIDWORKS Electrical.


• 3-5 years of industrial experience in power systems, control systems, and automation.


• 3-5+ years of experience and familiarity with codes and standards:


• Canadian Electrical Code, CSA 22.1, CSA 22.2 No.14, 25, 30


• NFPA 70, 496


• UL 508, 508A, G98, G68


• IEC standards for unclassified and hazardous areas (IEC 60079-0 & 60079-1)

Plusses:

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation


• Experience with ATEX Low Voltage EMC directives


• Working knowledge of PLC programming


• Thermal Heating Industry experience

Salary Range:
150,000 CAD - 175,000 CAD
