Education Req
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college.
Technical Skills Req
- Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks - Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program
Experience Req
- At least 1 year prior experience on the C2BMC program in any capacity - Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
Position Responsibilities
- The System Test Team conducts the planning and analysis of all MDS ground tests and flight tests in which the C2BMC program is a participant. Ground test types include: pairwise tests, Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI), Integrated Ground Test (GTI), Distributed Ground Test (GTD), cyber tests, Space Domain Awareness (SDA), and pre-flight test HWIL efforts. Flight tests are conducted with pre-determined sensors and shooters. International events are comprised of various ground tests and flight tests.
- The System Test SME is responsible for the planning of all assigned test events, with emphasis on developing and implementing the test artifacts required for each event:
o Test objectives
o Architectures
o Data Item Descriptions
o Defense Designs
o Sensor Resource Management (SRM) settings
o Operational Tasking Data Link (OPTASKLINK), Air Defense Systems Integrator (ADSI) configuration and Forwarding Tables, CDS, TDACS, TRAUT TDACS, Comms Connectivity Matrices, Event Configuration Baseline (ECB)
o System Adjustable Parameters (SAPs)/Site-Specific Parameters (SSPs)
o BDR and PR applicability
o Certification Data Packages
The position also provides the following support:
- Support planning phase reviews and meetings
- Support customer boards and meetings
- Support Data Management
- Interface with developers
- Support government personnel during event execution phases when requested
- Support anomaly resolution and troubleshooting
- Support analysis group
- Support Failure Review Boards (FRBs)
Other
- Possible infrequent OCONUS travel
