Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Engineer / Applied AI Developer to join our innovation team.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on Python developer who loves exploring cutting-edge AI technologies and building rapid proof-of-concept (POC) applications.
You will work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment, developing intelligent solutions and prototypes leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, and AI-powered automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered prototypes and proof-of-concept applications.
- Work with LLMs and AI APIs to explore advanced capabilities like summarization, conversation, and reasoning.
- Build and integrate APIs to handle both structured and unstructured data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver applied AI solutions.
- Experiment with prompt optimization, function calling, and fine-tuning LLM interactions.
- Document workflows, best practices, and prototype architectures for future scaling.
Must Have Technical Skills
- Python (Intermediate to Advanced proficiency)
- Proven ability to rapidly build working prototypes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, and function calling
- Knowledge of API integration and handling diverse data types
- Familiarity with Git and collaborative development practices
Nice to Have Technical Skills
- Experience building Agentic AI systems, chatbots, or AI summarization tools
- Exposure to OpenAI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, or similar frameworks
- Familiarity with Streamlit, FastAPI, or Flask for building front-end/demo interfaces
- Understanding of cloud-based AI services (AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Google Cloud Platform Vertex AI, etc.)
