IT System Administrator SME

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking an IT System Administrator SME in Colorado Springs, CO.

Responsibilities:
* IT System Administrator SME will ensure all data is being backed up per COOP and BCP
* Ensure backup system is functioning correctly and periodically test the backup system by restoring files
* Respond appropriately to any security or virus incident discovered in the system
* Install, configure, monitor, manage and maintain all Windows/Linux based servers
* Create and maintain Windows/Linux system administration processes and procedures
* Install, configure, manage and maintain all Windows/Linux server based applications
* Ensure all Windows/Linux based systems have the appropriate patches installed - includes but is not limited to, security, applications and OS
* Ensure all Windows/Linux based systems are running current versions of antivirus software with current virus definition files
* As an IT System Administrator SME, you will create, manage and maintain group policy objects, security groups, user accounts
* Monitor, manage and maintain storage systems and devices
* Recommend system enhancements, including but not limited to, servers, applications, storage, processes and procedures

REQUIREMENTS:
* Emerging authority typically with an Advanced degree and 7+ years of experience or Bachelors with 9+ years of experience or equivalent

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
