Overview Of Position

The Senior Manager of Channel Performance & Analytics is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies to optimize channel performance. This role leverages analytics, reporting, and insights to enhance business growth, improve channel efficiency, and strengthen coach and client engagement. The ideal candidate will inform strategic decisions, drive innovation, and ensure a consistent evaluation of competitive market trends and business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Analytics
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to monitor and improve channel performance across all sales channels.
  • Utilize data analytics to derive insights that support strategic decision-making and optimize business outcomes.
  • Lead the development of reporting tools, forecasting models, and performance measurement frameworks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with marketing, sales, finance, and IT teams to align business objectives and leverage data for impact.
  • Oversee competitive analysis and the evaluation of key business initiatives to inform decision-making.
  • Insights & Performance Measurement
  • Lead and prioritize insights development, including standardized KPI creation and analysis.
  • Oversee regional data analytics, ensuring accuracy, quality, and training support for market analysts.
  • Define strategy for analytical projects, reporting structures, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Provide strategic direction, resource allocation, and policy formation to support business objectives.

  • Scope

    The Senior Manager of Channel Performance & Analytics will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, finance, and IT, to drive key initiatives and optimize channel performance. The role will have a significant influence on multiple departments and will be responsible for guiding strategic decisions and performance evaluations to support business growth within Medifast's U.S. operations. While there is no direct budget responsibility, the Director will oversee the allocation of resources to ensure the effectiveness of data-driven initiatives. Overall, the position is focused on leveraging data and strategic insights to drive business performance and support the company's growth objectives.

    Knowledge, Education, Skills & Abilities

    Specialized Insights Areas:
    • Analyze funnel performance, buy-flow, and lifetime value (LTV) metrics.
    • Assess coach and client satisfaction, attitudes, and financial impact.
    • Evaluate coach and commission performance along with satisfaction insights.
    • Measure product performance, including financial and customer satisfaction metrics.
    • Model business proposals that have the potential to impact coaches and clients, predicting change in costs/savings, shifts in behavior and overall impact to the business

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field.
    • 8+ years of experience in channel performance analytics or a similar role within a data-driven organization.
    • Expertise in SQL, data architecture, and business intelligence tools.
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Strong ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
    • Experience in cross-functional collaboration across marketing, sales, and operations.
    • Proficiency in data visualization and analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).
    • Knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce, and sales operations best practices.
