Site Testing and Installation Specialist
The Opportunity:

A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable the DoD to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of technical skill and careful planning. That's why we need you, an experienced network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network the DoD needs.

As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your experience in network design and architecture, system interoperability, OSI model, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding to support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries. You'll help manage an Enterprise Cloud DoD Capability and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you optimize client operations and modernization. Using your experience in Cloud Networking, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects. Using your technical curiosity and knowledge of industry standards, you'll make an impact on national security missions.

You Have:
  • 4+ years of experience in site installation and testing, including more complex projects
  • Experience with IL4 site installation, including traffic load testing, testing various systems, and troubleshooting issues
  • Experience c ond ucting site installations and comprehensive testing procedures, and diagnosing and resolving installation and testing challenges
  • Knowledge in planning and executing moderate site installation projects
  • Ability to work with various hardware and sof tware systems
  • Ability to travel to CONUS or OCONUS locations
  • Secret clearance
  • Asso cia te's degree in an IT or Electronics field
  • Entry-level CompTIA A+ Hardware Installation Certification
  • Intermediate-level Certified Fiber Optic Techni cia n Certification


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
