REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Duties: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Product Analyst to support the planning, coordination, and execution of product initiatives for internal and vendor-managed technology products serving financial advisors. This role will be critical in managing product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business goals, coordinating cross-functional teams, and performing rigorous product testing.
The candidate will play a key role in delivering impactful tools and solutions in the financial services space, improving the experience and effectiveness of financial advisors through innovative technology.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Summary:
Product Roadmap Management:
Collaborate with internal product managers and external vendors to maintain and track product roadmaps.
Monitor progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
Facilitate roadmap planning sessions and gather input from stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
Act as the liaison between product, engineering, design, compliance, operations, and vendor teams.
Drive communication to ensure timely delivery of features and updates.
Organize and lead project update meetings, sprint reviews, and release readiness discussions.
Product Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute test plans and scripts for new product features and releases.
Partner with QA teams and business users to validate functional requirements.
Identify bugs or issues, document them clearly, and track resolution through completion.
Product Performance Analysis:
Collect and analyze product usage data to support ongoing improvements.
Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on product performance metrics.
Assist in post-release reviews to assess impact and inform future enhancements.
Skills: Technical & Analytical Skills:
Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile development practices.
Experience writing and executing test cases or using testing tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium).
Ability to analyze data using Excel, SQL, or BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Industry Knowledge:
Experience or strong interest in financial services, especially tools for financial advisors, wealth management platforms, or investment technologies.
Understanding of regulatory and compliance considerations in financial technology products.
Prior knowledge of billing systems a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent organizational and communication skills - as well as a "roll up the sleeves" mentality - sufficient to independently oversee multiple project from start to completion.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Comfort in working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders..
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal skills.
