Job Description:
- The Quality Assurance Analyst II will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of application development, testing, and implementation meet quality standards.
- This role involves analyzing user requirements, developing test plans, and verifying that applications and systems meet business, regulatory, and client requirements.
- The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Develop a deep understanding of all aspects of the application, including reports, parameters, claims management, intake services, and system interfaces.
- Assume responsibility for specific areas of application functionality and develop subject matter expertise.
- Define and establish quality assurance procedures, standards, metrics reporting, and auditing.
- Analyze user needs and lead the design of tests to verify that end-user requirements have been met.
- Develop and maintain software test scripts and test plans to ensure systems meet specifications.
- Design and execute tests to verify compliance with insurance carrier and regulatory requirements.
- Test and verify software; assist in testing projects led by the programming team.
- Prepare documentation and follow established software release procedures.
- Mentor and support junior Quality Assurance Analysts.
- Stay up to date with current QA tools, methodologies, and technology advancements.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service for internal and external clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned and support the organization s quality programs.
- Travel as required.
- Strong knowledge of client/server applications and claims management systems.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and interpretive abilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
- 8+ years of experience in Information Technology or Computer Science roles.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in testing or quality assurance.
- Minimum 2 years of specialized experience interpreting user requirements and developing business application tests.
- Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
- Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university required.
- Major in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred.
