Job Details
Typically working in a complex, high spend environment, involving the implementation of strategic procurement activities. Works with the category leaders; account management team and key customers to ensure successful implementation of strategic sourcing decisions and service deliver against day-to-day buying activities. Acts as an expert in the application of world class strategic sourcing techniques, with the ability to educate and guide their team in the day-to-day application across a wide variety of spend categories from simple goods to complex services to created best practice sourcing across their delegate spend categories. The role holder is accountable for the line and performance management of a Procurement team of Sourcing Specialist and Buyers that are deployed to one of more of the following- the Account Management team, the Global/Regional Category Leads and/or major customer driven projects.
